iRobot Roomba 520 Cool Gadgets
The fact that the Roomba has only one brush is an index of the biggest difference between him and Navibot Samsung, and even many of the other robot vacuum cleaners. Compared to the Samsung SR8855 Navibot Roomba 520 seems much smaller. At 340 x 340 x 90mm it’s actually only 15 mm shorter and narrower than 10 mm, but it certainly seems much weaker. It is also more sensitive decorated with just a creamy white matte finish to most of the body and head in matt silver. This means that it must hide most scratches and dirt better than the shiny plastic of the Navibot. It also has a clean extra that makes a handle that is embedded in the upper part.
Overall build quality seems decent also with two solid rubber wheels pushed very long propel the Roomba, a sound mechanism for cleaning and looking hard plastic usually used everywhere. However, besides its plastic gloss, Navibot Samsung does not seem to be a step up with some heavy rubber running round the edge of the bot more substantial rotor brushes (not to mention the Samsung also has two of these), and a more sophisticated main brush. Also the dock Roomba feels distinctly fragile – not ideal for something that will spend his time sitting on a floor.
